Girls Camp 2011

We have been excited to have our ward girls camp this year especially since we have doubled in numbers from last year. Here are some of my favorite shots:
The camp we stayed at was pretty great the girls enjoyed swimming and the game room.

We had some time to do a craft which was called paper beads. You basically cut a small triangle shape into some paper with a distinct pattern. Then using a stick you roll the triangle from the biggest end to the smallest and glue it together. It really creates some of the coolest patterns to make jewelry.

Our theme this year was based on pirates and seeking after treasure, so for our hike we followed a treasure map.

The girls finally ended up actually digging for their treasure.

The most popular activity ended up being horseback riding.

A few of the girls really enjoyed archery as did some of our fearless leaders below.

Last but not least we enjoyed paddle boats and canoes too.

It turned out to be a great camp and we enjoyed all the food and fun. We had some tough moments with the rain, but we made it through and hopefully the girls felt like it was a success.
