Home Sweet Home

So the long awaited post about the home is finally here. I know I know you all were thinking she didn't really buy a house, but really I did. Here is the room by room tour. I thought we would start with the least appealing room and go forward.
We like to call this the cedar room because the wall is cedar. Clever huh? It's like we went to college or something. Anyway we don't know if we will keep the cedar, but here it is for now.

This is the office. For some reason I have taken to calling it the study. . . like I study now. I do like having a nice reading chair though.

This is the main bathroom. We have two other full baths besides this one. Yeah for space!!

This is the lovely living room/music room.

Here is dining room side of the kitchen.

This is the kitchen. I love the ledge by the window. Someday when I become a green thumb I will put some plants there.

EXTERIOR PICTURES

Here is the left side of the yard. Look we have cute tulips and I didn't even have to do it. By the way I am standing on our deck. It's not very big, but we could put a barbeque out there.

This is the right side of the back yard. Isn't it dramatically different? Despite the lack of landscape appeal it is huge and will give us lots of room.

Okay so I totally love this tree. It looks so gorgeous right now because of the spring. Ask me again in the fall if I love this tree.

So here she is in all her glory. Don't mind the lawn, someday we will water it :). So the general story is we now have four bedroom three bathroom house. Eventually we want to finish off the basement for another room and a closed in washer/dryer room. Hooray for the new house!!

Batter Up--Roomie Reunion April 2007

For our Spring roommate reunion we decided to attend a BYU baseball game and let me just say what a great night for baseball it was. The game was a lot of fun and of course we all enjoyed the company.

BYU was the bigger winner of this game. My only question is why is the team high fiving themselves instead of the other team? Isn't that the first rule of teeball 101?

Someone else was really enjoying the game too. Give up? It's Lauren. I grabbed my camera and asked her to smile and she did. Look at that big toothy grin. I think she is accustomed to this picture taking business. Say cheese!

Last, but certainly not least here are the girls together again. We all want to send our congratulations to the new mothers in the group--Jamie and Mandy!!!

Michelle's Engaged

See Michelle. See Michelle looking happy. She is looking so happy because she is newly engaged to Matthew David Pierce. Here she is smiling amidst her busy shopping for wedding dresses and bridemaid attire.

Here is Michelle's pretty sparkly. We both noticed that we tend to have similar taste in rings. You can't tell by the picture, but her stone is round. It's lovely and perfect for her. I am so happy for my BFF! Congratulations to Michelle!
