Christmas Letter

Merry Christmas from the Hansen family.

Matt continues to work at Hill Air Force Base as a contractor. The main focus of his job is testing software that manages the radar for the Air Force. We are especially grateful this year that he still has a job. He also continues to serve as Elder's Quorum President which keeps him plenty busy. In his spare time he still enjoys mountain biking and volleyball and is looking forward to a couple of snowboarding trips this year.

I am working for the school district as a reading tutor which I love. I also love the extra long breaks. My calling is second counselor in the young women and that also keeps me very busy. In my spare time I enjoy reading, shopping, and sleeping. (Do you think taking naps counts as a hobby? I do.)

We are grateful to have a beautiful home, employment, to live in this country, to be healthy, to have a cute new puppy, and most of all for the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives. Merry Christmas to our friends and family, may the spirit of the holidays fill your hearts this week and in the future.

Meet Ellie

This is Ellie a 10 week old maltipoo (maltese and poodle mix) that we just got. Let me just say there is something about a puppy that is so joyful. She is always happy to see me, loves to cuddle, and is very affectionate. We love having her even though there are struggles to training a puppy.

Mariana's Blessing Day

Happy Halloween

I think these costumes match our personalities.

Logan Temple

Our ward has decided to visit some temples that are close by that we don't visit regularly. This is the Logan Temple, which is beautiful. The weather was also absolutely fabulous, especially for October.

Change it Up

I wanted to change up some things in our master bedroom. Matt built a partial canopy for me out of crown molding. I ordered some drapery panels and added some lining and silver accents. Plus I got a new throw pillow that goes with the wall colors. I have to say I love how it turned out.

I bought these drapes as well because they had a little of the focal wall pattern and carried it over to the other wall.

Nothing much has changed here, but I thought I would give the full 360. Now on to the next rooms.
