• What is his name? Matthew Dean Hansen
• How long have you been together? We've been married almost a year and seven months. I feel like I am a kid again telling everyone I am eight and a half.
• How long did you date? Probably about six months. What can I say we aren't getting any younger.
• How old his he? He's my old man at age 32.
• Who said I love you first? Him.
• Who is taller? Him (6' 2"). In fact, I almost didn't make his cut because I was too short at 5'7".
• Who can sing better? Him. I think I might be tone deaf or at least that is what I say to comfort myself.
• Who is smarter? It depends on the area. I am totally wining in the English realm, but Math, Science, and Computer stuff are not my forte.
• Who does the laundry? Ooo ooo pick me.
• Who pays the bills? I do, but we are both bringing home the bacon and his bacon is bigger.
• Who sleeps in the right side? Me.
• Who mows the lawn? He does, unless he doesn't cut it short enough and then I do it again.
• Who cooks dinner? He does. What can I say I am not very domestic.
• Who drives? Him. I can't stand the stress of driving, plus I have road rage and we don't need that to come out now do we.
• Who is more stubborn? I think its me. I keep telling him I just want to be right. I'm obsessed.
• Who kissed who first? He kissed me.
• Who asked who out first? Well if you want to be technical I think it was me. He was taking Michelle out and she thought he was a great guy, but there was no chemistry for her. Well I couldn't pass up on a great guy so I told her to set us up.
• Who proposed? He did.
• Who has more friends? I think we are pretty even.
• Who is more sensitive? I'm not sure. If you measure by who can produce the most tears then I win.
• Who has more siblings? He's the youngest of 6, so he is the winner.
• Who wears the pants? I am going to be diplomatic here and say we take turns, but I do have to say if the wife isn't happy then no one is. Who doesn't love a good pair of socks? Thanks Grandma!

Hansen Christmas--The Sequel

Happy Christmas to us! Look you can buy a fireplace and plug it in. Hooray for electricity and automatic ambiance. Just in case you are wondering it has a space heater inside that makes the room warm as well.

Double Digits

So way back on November 10th Spencer celebrated his golden birthday and turned 10 years old. What does every 10 year old boy want (besides a Wii)? Answer: A skateboard--so far he hasn't broken any bones!!

I Want Candy-My Ode to Halloween

So I was reading Mandy's post on Halloween and she mentioned how late she was getting the post up and here I thought I was doing so great to get the post up within a week. Anyway, despite my contiual tardiness here is my Ode to Halloween. Michelle and Pierce as my favorite nerds.

This is Shawn and Andrea's baby, James, getting all dressed up for the Halloween adventures. I can't believe how big he is getting.

James is so cute, even as a scary ghost. I love his grin and he doesn't even have any candy yet.

Look at the size of that hair. I think those side burns could put someone's eye out.

Nothin' says lovin' like two Halloween Hippees. We enjoyed another great party at the Browns and survived another round of Brown Family Bingo (don't ask about the prizes). Happy Halloween!

Bump, Set, Spike it, That's the Way We Like it

Matt really loves volleyball and fortunately for us Layton City has recreation program that includes volleyball. They have about three "seasons" a year. Here are the warm up shots prior to the game.
