A Comedy of Errors

Spencer was chosen to play one of the leads in his school Shakespeare play this year. Check him out in action.

He was awesome! I think it is so brave to memorize lines and stand on the stage in front of everyone and deliver them.

The Venetian

The Venetian has gondola rides both inside and outside. We elected to take the inside ride as it was night time and a bit cool. I loved the ride because the gondoliers sing Italian songs and you really do feel like you are in Venice, except the water is much cleaner.

The Bellagio Fountains

So we are slightly obsessed with the fountains at the Bellagio. They are so awesome because they are carefully choreographed with musical selections. We went to see the fountains a couple of times during the day and a couple of times at night as well.

Las Vegas Temple

One of the traditions Matt and I have sort of adopted is going to the temple in the city we are visiting. The Las Vegas Temple is is one of the few temples that has the six spire design and it is sure hard to get them all in one picture. Anyway, check Matt's photo montage below.

Visit to Vegas

Matt and I decided to escape the winter blues for the long weekend and take a trip to Vegas. The weather was gorgeous--blue skies, sunny, hi 60s. I miss the sun!! Hopefully spring is just around the corner for us. Here are some of the highlights from the strip.

The faux Arc de Triumph

This looks just like the fountains in Rome, but it's a store. I am a succor for a theme and in Vegas they really complete every detail.

The Mirage

The Venetian. This looks exactly like Venice, but the water is definitely cleaner.

I also loved the inside of the Venetian. I think maybe I should do this to me ceiling at home and then I will never know it is winter outside.

2010 is the year of the Tiger on the Chinese calendar and many of the bigger hotels featured lovely Chinese decorations like these.

Paris is the most gorgeous at night and so here it is again. Who doesn't love a mini Eiffel Tower?

Flashback

This is one of my favorite pictures from when Kaylyn and Devin were little. They are practically the same size. This kind of reminds me of Ava and Noah.

This is the only picture we took at Christmas, we had a great time, but we weren't great at capturing the moments. This is from Devin's golden birthday. He turned 22 on the 22nd.
